Community Projects

The Nahum Gutman Museum of Art is committed to contributing to the community and initiates diverse projects for special populations.

“Children with a chance” Project
The project aims to nurture and enrich children from disadvantaged and special populations residing in boarding schools throughout the country, and provide them with quality art education as well as a challenging and enjoyable framework for artistic creation, that offers a sense of belonging, self-efficacy and influence over their immediate environment.

“Gutman Incubator” Project

This educational project is designed to nurture children from disadvantaged and special communities in south Tel Aviv-Yaffo and provide them with quality art education as well as a challenging and enjoyable setting for artistic creation.

“I have a Hanukkah lamp” Project

Annually, for a period of a month around Hanukah, the museum presents Drora and Pinhas Zakai’s collection of Hanukkah lamps. The project offers school children from disadvantaged areas and boarding schools an activity which includes an active visit to the educational exhibitions as well as an arts and crafts workshop.
